2007 V10 CHT Location?
The problem is a spike in the temp. gauge and the check engine light goes on. Sometimes there is a loss of power or limp mode and the chime comes on. I can pull over everytime and turn off the key and do a restart then everything is back to normal except that the check engine light stays on. 3 or 4 days go by and the samething happens again.
I have checked the cooling fluid levels and they are fine. I think I have a failing CHT sensor. I want to check the wiring and maybe replace the sensor. I would like a little help. Can someone lead me to a pinpoint location of the sensor and how about a part number?
Who else has had the same problem and does replacing the sensor solve the problem?
I also read about a new thermostat and Y pipe TSB along with the sensor but I thought I would just try the sensor first. Thanks: Ronnie
I did a google search of:
"site:motorcraftservice.com 2007 f250 cht"
Came right up - I'm not sure why they offer manuals as a subscription service, and then allow google to index them, and US to be able to access them without logging in...
I've seen other's post direct links to the entire service manuals too, here's one for the 2003:

Never hurts to ask...
Someone used to host the entire CD images on their web site, but they recently got sued (or a cease-and-desist letter).
I'd just buy one off of eBay... Which is what I did for my '01...
