haha, yeah I kinda wanted it.. my bronco needs a little bit of bling..
I haven't talked to Nick#2, but he's going camping for the whole weekend right?
I don't know what his plans or yours are, but I can make it either friday, early saturday (would have to leave by 2:30pm at the latest), or sunday. Which tubes still need to be done?
I'll be down Saturday morning fairly early if you can make it. I just talked with Nick#2, and he said he sort of explained about the placement of rear cross brace bars and how your back seat will no longer be usable if they go in. The other 2 are the door bars, and he wanted to wait until the cross brace bar issue was looked at, before he put the seat back in and the door bars. To be honest, I really don't think you'll need them with the way the family cage portion is now added. It is braced really well everywhere, and I think for what you are using the truck for, they will be more in the way than anything else. Basically making your back seat completely useless to any passengers.
Well, he could probably get 1 passenger in the center of the seat, but that's an awfully big bench for 1 person. Maybe find a fat chick to sit in the back for ballast.......
I just got off the phone with Nick#2 and I can always add those bars back in later, if I decide to go with buckets or whatever, but with the bench it can stay as is for now. I don't think I'll be able to bring any extra help on saturday, but after I get the bronco together and loaded I can give you a hand with the ranger until 2ish. I could do all day sunday and bring Andrew again, but its up to you
Can you do both days? Saturday morning, and Sunday afternoon? If you can be there early, I can weld in the door bars and get your seat bolted back in pretty quickly. I need a hand moving the cab back over to the chain hoist and putting it on the frame. Then Sunday afternoon, I could use a hand putting the bed on and loading it on the trailer to take to my house to finish up.
Early is better than later to beat the heat and possible rain. Say around 7:30 or 8? Get the door bars and seat back in 1st, then start with the ranger.
