Blower motor wire?

Hello,
Anyone know which wire at the ignition harness under the steering colomn powers the blower motor? I just installed a remote starter and the directions had me splice the gry/yel and blk/green to the power relays of the remote starter. However the blower motor still only works when the key is in on run position. Did I miss a wire?? is there a 3rd acc. wire??

The gray/yellow wire is the wire for the blower. What did you use for a hot wire to the power relay?

Blower motor wire?

Thanks for the reply!

One of the yellow wires 12v constant from the ignition harness powers the relay. The remote star module activates the relay. And when the truck is in remote start running.(key out) I do have power to these wires. So I know the relay is working. I double checked the wires so this should work I just got my relays for the door locks yesterday ,so maybe I'll look back into it tonight. But otherwise my Bulldog RSA102 works great.

Thanks Shad G. 94 f150

Blower motor wire?

I just did a closer look at the wiring diagram. There should be three gray/yellow wires coming off of the ignition switch. Two of these wires are spliced together by the factory. The two that are spliced together are the ones you want. The third gray/yellow wire powers things that are not needed for remote start (e.g.antilock brakes, speedometer, shift control, etc.). I suspect that you have spliced into the third gray/yellow wire. While in remote start on my truck, the anti-lock brake light shows a fault. After turning on the key the fault light turns off. Does yours do the same thing? This would confirm that you have spliced into the wrong (third) gray/yellow wire.

Blower motor wire?

Yep!
My anti-lock brake light comes on til I turn the key. I'll go back into my wiring tonight after I heat up the garage. I have been trying to get a hold of bulldog security for this answer but no luck. I'll post after I get this straightened out and my door locks hooked up.
Thanks alot! Shad G. of WI
