Air Conditioner
I have a 1997 ext. cab 4.2 F – 150 . I would like to wire up a cut out switch for the air conditioner. It has always annoyed me that the only way to get outside fresh air winter and summer though the defrost involves running the air conditioner. My brother’s Honda has a simple on off (air) switch on the dash. How would I go about hooking one up the most efficient way? While I’m at it I need to wire up the brake light switch for a truck cap. What’s the best route to run the wire an to splice in or has Ford hidden a connector? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am aware that not using your air conditioner over a prolonged period of time can be harmful. Running it all the time can’t be any better.
