help finding ect sensor

Ok, I bought a replacement, cant seem to find it where the haynes says it should be located.
Can any help me find it? Its a 2000 expedtition 5.4l

It should be right behind the alternator.

thanks, i found it. looks like Im going to have to remove the alternator to get to it, but at least i know where its at.
