Ok! Guys! Here I go...We just pulled my 352/360 block from my '65 SWB,1/2 ton pick'em up truck. The block has a cracked water jacket. This block also has four motor mount holes, 2 large ones( approx. 5" on center) and 2 small ones (approx. 3" on center). My replacement block has only the 2 smaller bolt holes. My question is : what motor mounts/ hardware will allow me to
mount this early FE block in my '65 P/U,originally designed to accept the larger mounts/hardware ? Will this smaller mount allow us to use the stockexhaust manifolds? Any advice will be muchly appreciated.
Im not 100% on this but the block you pulled out with the four bolts I think is an FT heavy duty truck engine. I read somewhere that they had 4 bolt motor mounts. Also, not totaly sure but aint the 2 bolt FE mounts are from the late 50's and very early 60's. any one sould mount in there without fab.
Good luck.

Welcome to FTE
Two bolt holes: You have a 1958/64 FE engine from a car, which uses different motor mounts.
First year for an FE engine to be factory installed in an F Series truck: 1965.
AFAIK, you'll have to fab some steel brackets to allow the FE rubber mounts to bolt to the early 1958/64 engine block.
Mebbe some aftermarket supplier offers them, but Ford does not.
Thanks guys for the info...I'll search the web and see what I can come up with. This engine has roughly a 4" stroke with roughly a 4-1/16" bore...Hmm! That calculates to a real high fun factor...I'll let you know what I come up with.
