Im in Roanoke! Moved here in 1998 andleft for a while. I came back up there and worked in the coal mines for about 2 years. Then got a divorce and came back here. Whats up with the gas prices there? SHEESH! How do you all do it? Its $3.55 here now

DG are you talking gas or diesel? I just scored diesel for 4.51 a gallon in Bluefield VA. It's right across the border and close to Lowes so it make sense for me to get my diesel there. I've taken to carrying several 5 gallon fuel cans around so I can grab some cheaper stuff when I find it.
I sure long for the $3 dollar a gallon diesel days again!

Yeah! I was talking about gasoline. The last I saw diesel here it was $4.46. I have a friend who has a 02 F350, I try to help him find the cheaper stuff when I can. I get tired of smelling diesel in a way, Nahhhhhhhhhh, no I dont!!! I love the smell of it. I guess thats why I make my living working on the big rigs! LOL!!
I'lll have to do that next time Im up there Paul, It wont be for a while, goin to the beach in 2 weeks. Gotta save money for that. When I worked up there I worked at the Samples Mine Complex and at a mine owned by Appalachian Fuels in gauley bridge. That was a nice ride everyday from Oak Hill! Glad I had a 4 banger then. Thanks for letting me talk in the WV chapter, I left a post in the VA one but it dont seem to be hitting on much. I lived around the Maple Fork Rd area for 18 years until I moved here by the way. Went to Woodrow Wilson High and Academy of Careers and Tech too.
