Is their a mesh filter screen under the PCV on a 2.9? Sometimes called an air element filter.

I doubt it, i had an 89 bronco II with the 2.9 and mine did not. LIke i said i doubt it but stay tuned maybe someone with an 89 ranger can verify that for ya.
