WAYYYYYYYY off topic, but, i need some advice. has anyone here ever put in a very big pond like for a back yard? like 14,000+ gallon with 2 water falls? i need some help trying to figure out how much time it will take for this job i need to bid. my partner has experience with smaller ponds but idk. this is big. its a 2 section pond. the liner is preformed rubber. like i say, i need a bit of help determining time here. there is 25 tons of natural stone to stack. for the edges, ect.
so way off topic but i will be in somerset next week 2 stroke... i am gonna be there for a week with or maybe without the stroke... and what do you have to dig it with???
i would say you are looking at somewhere between 15 and 20 hours with no equiptment and maybe 10 to 15 with equiptment... how big are the stones?? and do you have to put the liner in???
yes, all there is now is the hole, and all the materials. its a BIG JOB. the guy's idea of a good estimate of time for 3 people working is 2 weeks, 5or6 days a week. he wants an hourly rate. 25 ton of stone = 13 pallets full chest high. an 800 pound main liner.
Why wouldnt you just buy a roll of epdm and do it your self isnt that cheaper? i really dont know but pre formed just sounds expensive. sounds like a fun job though. good luck 2-stroke.
