Finally bought one

I finally bought one. Just thought I would share some pictures of the new to me Excursion. It is a 2000, 4x4, with the V10. I got a steal of a deal even though it has high milage(122000). I have already bugged X hemi guy to death with my questions and wanted to say thanks to him in helping me make my decision. First thing I am going to buy is some towing mirrors.

Now you are part of a family of FEW Excursion owners...be proud!!!

Lastly...NOW you can join the Gatlinburg rally and drive one of the Ex's!!!...don't forget today is the last day to order shirts if you want them delivered to the rally!!!

Congrats. Big R,
I even like the color, a lot easier to keep clean. Lose the runnin boards, add 4 inches of suspension & some new rubber & you'll have yourself one mean lookin, monster SUV. Swing by this weekend & we'll take some pictures with your new one & your old one.

I will try to bring it down saturday if you are not working, let me know. Those running boards will be in the trash as soon as my lift is installed. Going with the n-fab's.

Man I love this Excursion so far. It has so much room compared to my wifes grand cherokee. Its kinda like moving from a popup camper to a double wide trailer. The first fill up from empty was a little hard to swallow, but the trade off for size was worth it to me. Looks like the jeep will be staying in the garage on weekends.
