well, the last week sure has been rough. the rear wheel tore off of my 7 foot bushhog last week on about wednesday. well, i told the bot working for me to use the other tractor with the big 9 foot old rusty bush hog. well, the gear box broke loose from age, and tore out one of the bush hog U-joints. ok, fix that all, $250. went to landscape saturday, got a call to go check on my old neighbor whose wife is in the hospital (i spent alotta time overe there while i was younger, they are like the grandparents i never had) and find him in the floor bleeding. he had 6 heart attacks, couldnt get to phone. we get him to the hospital and they airlifted him out. he passed away yesterday. on top of that i ruined one of the brand new tires i put on my mower trailer $90. well, i go bush hog a lake lot for a guy, slip clutches fly apart on same old 9' bush hog $70. so, i get back on tractor and starter finally went out on it. $125. then i get all that fixed, and go bush hog another lot, and bush hog over one of the telephone pods that was in the middle of a bunch of weeds, and now 425 local customers are out of internet, and phone service. their insurance will bill me for it, but i couldnt see it. i say if they arent gonna trim and spray around them things like they should, then the can expect it. the thing was 15 or 20 feet off the edge of the road, and wasnt maked. i'm bout ready to give up!

 

I hope you have insurance for your business with that telephone deal! thats gonna be expensive!

yes, tranny seems great now. @ todd- i do have good news reports sometimes like about the missionaries son doing good and all lol. but, the Lord knows what he's doin. maybe my money i spend is helping someone who needs it worse-someone with a family to support or something.

 

Well 2-stroke keep on pullin and things will turn around. i know how you feel it seems like a can never catch a break either. it will turn around evenually god will only give you as much as you can handle. sorry to hear about your neighbor/grandpa.

ya neal, i think she'll be OK. she's back home but has to have a sitter.

 

I am sure you will check on her also. I hate to hear thi skind of news. Can you imagine how she feels just getting out of the hospital and finding she is all alone. Her companion for life is now gone. Sad news. Take care of her like she was family. I have seen this scenario all too often.
