427 intake valves 2.25
Any of you guys using 2.25 (11/32 stem) intake valves in your 427 engines?
They are the hot ticket for full race Medium riser heads. They work in the Edelbrock heads also.
Back in the day, the 2.19 intake was the hot setup, but they usually came with 3/8 stems, which are heavier than the 11/32 stem valves. I have ten of one and eight of the other on order.

Since I was talking about the 2.25 valves in medium riser heads, I would be interested to know what size exhaust valves you used in the medium riser heads, 1.75?, 1.73, Dino? Also did they make your 428 or 390 go faster?

You do not need to answer this, because Medium riser heads on a 428 or 390 the exhaust valves do not clear the cylinder bore. 2.19 intakes will just clear a 4.16 bore.
Making you look bad or me look bad is foolish for either of us.
Have a nice day.

Scouder;
Are you running the 2.25 intake valves or the 2.19? What size exhaust valves do you have? 1.75?
You have a great engine. Just think what it would be like to have it in a Cobra kit car...
Maybe you would need a pilots license. LOL
