Body Work
Took my '69 to a friend who used to be in the restoration business. We are making it an every Wednsday until it's done deal. Yesterday we shimmed and adjusted every seam and hinge on it for about eight hours. Next week we are going to pull the bed to sand blast and primer it with zinc etching type. We are going to work one section at a time so I can drive it home each night up until it's ready to spray. I'll have to take a few days off to spray it as we will remove all the glass for that.
I am going to trade some mechanical labor for all his body work help. He has a sweet '50 with a tilt front end that he has the metal work done but hasn't got it running yet. He even has sewing machines and makes the interior himself.
I'll keep posting progress.
