Instrument Panel Lighting question...

I have a 2000 ranger 4.0 extended cab 4wd.

The lower center light bulb in the instrument cluster is burnt out. (its dark in the lower half of speedometer area)

Does anyone have a bulb(s) part number for this? I'm afraid that if i tear things apart to get the bulb out, I won't be able to drive it to the parts store for replacement as its my only ride right now....

Thanks!

I believe it is 194. I just replaced all of mine about 6 months ago. It only took about an hour or so. I thought it would be harder but it is quite simple as long as you take your time.

It's a 194. Look for 194LL bulbs, "LL" indicates long life.

Or better yet, buy some 194 LED lights. You will never have to replace them again. BTW, replace all the bulbs when you are in there, so that you don't end up having to do the job again to replace another bulb.

I started a thread on this about a week and a half ago. Here's the link to it, and yes, it is 194. And definitely replace them all because you're going to have more burn out eventually. 4 of the 6 bulbs were burned out when I just replaced mine. Anyway, here's the link to that thread:

Thanks!

The job is complete and except for the radio issue, it was a snap!
