I need to hual a 12,000 pound fith wheel trailer from tuscon to puerto vallarta with my 1997 f-250 4+4 7.3 5 speed man. Not a dualy. Will The truck handle this task?

What is your axle ratio? That will make a difference.

From owner's manual: 1997 F-250 HD, F-350, and F- Super Duty.

Regular cab- 7.3 diesel 3.55 rear- 16000 lbs (10100 trailer weight)
4.10 rear 20000 lbs (14000 trailer weight).

The weights are reduced for crew or super cabs but also change with 139" wheelbase or 155" wheelbase. So details are needed.

Don't exceed your rear GAWR either.

You'll be OK, just don't push it. Make sure your tires, brakes and cooling system are up to the task
