I put the TCI MII in my 54.. and the TCI rear leaf kit.
very nice, clean.. can't see why to spend more on the other kit.
Got them thru ebay vendor, and got slotted rotors and brake lines too, no shipping cost..
See my gallery for pics

I did the tubular arms, dropped spindles, power rack. You can see it in my gallery on the 54 truck.
here is a link to the vendor I got the MII from
eBay Motors: TCI MUSTANG II FRONT SUSPENSION 1953-56 FORD TRUCK IFS (item 220246503815 end time Jul-14-08 19:23:53 PDT)
they supply the drilled/slotted rotors and the brake lines on top of the TCI package.
We got 11 35lb packages via fedex ground..
in the pic the boxing plates are welded in, the rest tacked.. my son is TIG welding the cross member and spring hats for me.
(so the springs aren't installed, make sure you decide what engine weight as it affects the springs)
one thing to think about is how long til you decide how to finish the chassis.. if the stuff is bare, like for me, you have the risk of surface rust, that will have to be cleaned up.

One more thing...
Springs...
I'm stayin' with the early 70's 302 that was in the '56 when I got it.
I'm "sure" I can get enough ponies out of that...
...so I don't think weight
will be TOO much of an issue as the truck was originally built with a V8...
Thanks again for all your help...

right.. just make sure you get the smallblock springs, not the heavier bigblock springs..

I did the same thing as Sdetweil on my '50 F1. I also used TCI for my 351W engine mounts and the brake assy. I used CPP for my tranny mount.
