my old boss droped a rear end off on saterday and i'm not sure what it is other then a ford the numbers on it are wcl-c 3.25 2lb 803
i know the 3.25 is the ratio but thats all and its only 50.5 inches from backing plate to backing plate any one use one that narrow
depends on what you want to do with it. it is not the most desirable Ford rear out there that is for sure. but behind a stock flathead it will probably live for ever. anything else and it would be a waste of time to install.
I don't think you could use this rear end for your truck unless you want to cut into your box. From your discription it's 50½" wide, the stock rear end is 61¼".

WCL-C = 7 3/4" rear end from a 1962/64 Fairlane 221/260/289.
Similar WCL rear ends were used on early 260 V8 1965 Mustangs (before 8/23/64), 1963/65 Falcons w/260/289's. WCL series used only 1962/65.
While the ring gear is 7 3/4" Ford classified this rear end as an 8 inch, which is the smaller brother to the 9 inch.
