Mounted my switches just above where Green Ford mounted his (next to the 4x4 switch). However, I mounted the swith for the compressor under the panel for the fuses out of sight with just the rear and front lock switch in sight. My thought was I like to turn-off the locking diff option when the wife, friends, or the dealer drives it; keeps them and my truck out of loss-of-control trouble.
Google Randy's Ring and Pinion...great guys to deal with for sure, they are very smart and the cheapest price I could find...it was 18 hondo for everything, with the larger compressor. I need to get everthing wired in before the weekend for the truck pull
I paid $1500 for the front and compressor; installed and $1200 for the rear installed ( I did the compressor install and wiring). I have a F250 CC LB 6.0. Even in 4wheel drive, it would just spin the wheels; I deceided to do the front first figuring it had the most weight and would proved the best traction. I then did the rear a year later. Love them; good dry road operation when unlocked and great foul weather operation when engaged. Plus I riged a air QD out the back off of the compressor; good for filling tires, etc.
