Need Help
03 psd 6.0, truck came with no power. Scanned computer, pulled 2 codes.....P132B and P2263 turbo boost performance codes. Pulled turbo to ck for carbon buildup and found the unison ring stuck to housing. Put the turbo back on, fixed right? Wrong, same damn codes, still no power. Acts like a restricted exhaust system. Monitored the VGT_DC and it fluctuates anywhere from 15% to 85%. Checked the EGR, EP sensor for restriction, found nothing. Already tried a new turbo actuator solenoid, no change. Before I order a turbocharger can anyone help me? Oh by the way don't buy Fords IDS software, it is a waste of $3000. I bought it and thought I would be able to do the turbo learn procedure, wrong again. You have to spend an extra $400 for a special cable to do one damn thing....how nice! One other thing is that when off the gas after hard acceleration I hear a load swooshing sound from the intake. Excessive back pressure maybe?

The sound is turbo-fart, so you still have a VGT issue... You did clean the turbo, right? I know it's a stupid question, but it has to be asked. You only wrote, "Pulled turbo to ck for carbon buildup and found the unison ring stuck to housing. Put the turbo back on, fixed right?" Do you have the turbo cleaning procedure?
