No Juice?!

Hi. I was installing a Sony CD player in my '95 F150 XL. I bought the wire harness, hooked it up, and when I tested it, it seemed fine. Then after I stuck the deck into the dash...nothing. I placed the original radio back in, and still nothing. Seems like there's no power getting to the thing. Checked all the wires(visually), and all the fuses. Now I'm stumped. Any ideas? TIA.

I'm having the same problem with my '97 Expedition. Did you figure out what the problem was? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No Juice?!

I just installed a Sony CD in my 1994 f-150 XL. The factory harness plug was cut off, so I had to get all of the wire color codes. Thanks to Cruthfield's excellent tech support. Hopefully, 1994 and 1995 are the same.

First, check that the dome lights work and check the fuse if not. Next, check that the light green/violet wire is hot at all times. Then, check that the yellow/black wire is hot with the key on. Check the radio fuse if not.
Finally, there are tree ground wires in the harness, one black and two black/green.
