Can anyone tell me where they measure to give you a size (eg 17 inch)?
I've just picked up a pre owned set of boyds for my 1979 f100, which were advertised at 17' x 8'. I've gotten them home and ran a quick tape over them and the outer extremity of the face reads around 18 1/2'.
My steelies on the truck at the moment, read 16' across which I would have taken as a 16inch rim.
Am I on the right track?
If I am, then I suspect I have picked myself up a very, VERY good deal.
