4in exaust ?

4in exaust ?

Has anyone had aproblem with your exaust vibrating on anything cuasing noise. I think mine is vibrating on my trans support cross member and poosibly on my rear shock. If so what was you fix?

Had the same thing happen to me, had to pop that section off and hit it with a hammer to put a indent to clear the support bolt on the crossmember. Just noticed it vibrating very lightly a week or so ago. Had everything tight but i guess it settled.

Thats what I thought. Even the stock exaust is "dented" in in those areas. Oh well more fun to have with the truck. Thanks for the reply.

I had a strange sound like that and it turned out to be some gravel and a couple of washers rattling around in my skid plate. I hope those washers were not important!

Everything seemed fine but heard a little rattle when idling. That dang bolt.

I have a light rattle at about 25-30 mph that I need to chase down, I'll have to check at the crossmember though I think I've got lots of room there.

I'm already nuts so no worries there

My exhaust is welded at every seam (except one that the dork at Midas forgot to do) so I'm thinking it's not exhaust related but you never know. It might just be me hearing things too
