Changing dash guages..What to do?

Every Autometer I checked shows three choices for fuel.
Ford Range:
73-10 ohms
GM Range:
0-90 ohms
And their own
Matches Auto Meter #3262 Sending Unit Range:
240-33 ohms
I have the "Ford" setup in my 78 Cougar, with pics to prove, and the fuel gauge functions 100% fine on the factory sender.

I don't dis believe you Psquare. I was just trying to make a point that if he decided to put a complete aftermarket gauge set in he should be aware that it can be a problem. I personally have not had good luck with Auto meter products. Two tachs were both junk.
