In order to install my new deck i need to bypass the factory amp - i did find it under the dash of my 95 bronco but its really cramped and i cannot find the second sent of cables- if anyone knows a site where to find pictures of the amp so i know what cable to pull that would be great . . thanks
I did this once in an explorer and I suggest that you run new speaker wires directly from the new head unit to your speakers instead of trying to use existing wires. The factory wires and connecters are junk anyways. Just cut the wires to the factory amp and/or take it out because it is useless to begin with.

I would agree ,I prefer to run some heavier gauge wire any way.I would not worry about finding the stock amp but just make sure you don't have any hot wires floating around in your dash. What I would suggest is just cut the wires you will use on the factory harness (ground , constant power and ignition) and leave the factory plug in there .Just maybe throw some tape or heat shrink around it for added protection.

They make a bypass connector. You just unplug the factory amp and put the connector in place of it. The people who make the factory wiring harness radio connectors that you can get at wal-mart radio shack best buy and circuit city make it.
I am having a similar problem with my 95 Bronco fs xlt ..but I can not find the location of the factory amp
Where did you find it??
Any pictures??
Thanks
Matt
GOT IT!!!!
It is up hidden behing the alarm (i think) way up behind the brake and gas pedals, there are two harnesses coming out on the bottom and it is speakers in and speakers out, I had to splice the one set of speaker cables because I got the wrong bypass harness, but with a little patience in the cold and dark with a flashlight in my mouth I managed to get it hooked up
I know yours is done but this is here just in case someone else needs to look it up
