Ported subwoofer
Hey, I bought an 94 square body f-250 and it had a fixed up stereo system Ill get the names of the stuff tomorrow. But it has a 12inch sub behind the seat that has a good kick but it is not ported. What size hole should I put in it? What difference does it make?

if it's not a ported box, it was probably not ment to be ported. Yes, a ported enclosure can net a 3db gain, in a best case scenario. But a ported enclosure usually requires about 50% more cubic volume then sealed.
You should first figure out what sub you have and what type of ported enclosure it would work best in, IE: volume, port with and port length. Before you go cutting holes in your box and making it worse.
