which carb should i use.

I have a 300 six cylinder,with headers the rest of the engine is stock I have a holley 500 and a holley 670 street avenger with offenhauser intake.
which carb would work best on my engine,also what jets,etc. would work best. Thanks.

The 500 out of the two would be your best bet. More isnt always better especially with a carb. Im am not sure about the jets, I would try it with what is on the carb first and then go from there.

I have an Edelbrock 500 CFM on my 300, it ran with no problems out of the box. It runs rich, though, without any tuning. The 500 will work but your 670 would be way too big.

I like the edelbrocks too for their simplicity and ease of tuning, they are fat right out of the box but with 10 bucks and 30 seconds you can lean them out with a metering rod change.
