ok. i just bought a pair of 10"s and have them set up in a bandpass box. they each can handle up to 350 watts each. a friend of mine gave me a pyramid pro plus 500watt bridegable amp. i have plans to install these into my '94 explorer and i have no idea on how to do it. is there anyone who could give me links to wiring diagrams or instuctions on what exactly i need to install these. please help..
go to www.JLAudio.com. They have some good diagrams there. But nothing beats Diamond Audio, I have 4 sets of Diamond M5 5 1/4 components, a Diamond M5 10" Sub in a JL Vantage custom enclosure, a 400 watt 4 channel MTX amp, and a 500 watt MTX mono class D sub amp, and with the new Pioneer DEH 7300 cd deck. All in a regular cab ranger 4x4. Diamond's are expensive but worth it, no wonder they are the best speaker on the market.I know whats up.

Well, I am not that familiar with Pyramid amps, but I will give this a shot. You should have 3 wires that are seperate y other wires on the amp. They should be Red, Black, and Probly yellow, or Red Black and Blue. Black hooks to ground, If there is a red and yellow, red gets hooked to a remote turn on (Power antenna), yellow gets hooked to constant 12v power. If there is a blue and Red, Blue gets hooked to remote, red gets hooked to constant 12v power. Next you need to hook up either low level (RCA) input connections, or high level (speaker wire) input connections. Next hook up your subs and you should be set.
Just curious... what kind of 10's did you get?? As for the pyramid amp... sell it and get somethings else. Pyramid is what pawn shops sell new... no one else carries it if I'm correct. I've seen a couple pyramid amps and speakers. If you ask me Radio Shack is better. Just my 2 cents
OMG. Are you serious? Pyramid is on like EVERY car stereo website. They are good products.
