6Pack CD Changer
97 XLT. I can't eject the 6pack cd changer. None of the CD's are jammed in, it's just that the holder won't eject out. When I push the eject button, it makes all the right whining noises but won't give me the holder.
All thoughts or comments are welcome. Thanks.

To eject the 6 pack cartrige, get a pretty sturdy piece of card board, not too thick (something like the back of a note book) and cut it about 2 to 3 inches wide and 6-8 inches long. and slide it under the bottom of the cartrige, pushing downward.
there is a trigger that releases the cartridge.
this should work even if there is no power to the unit. good luck

I have the same make and model truck as you and I am having the same problem. Does the cardboard go along the width or length side of the cartridge? I cant seem to get the cardboard under the cartridge either. Can you give me an idea of where the latch is?

I have the same year truck, but not the same problem....is there a reason why the changer won't eject after some time? Power....bad wires/connection...etc...etc...etc...?
