I am installing the cure. Have a quick question, my factory 12 prong plug has different color wiring than what is shown with the install questions, I was curious if anyone else ran into this when installing theirs everything matches except the red wire pin #1 it is orange and yellow which is the same as pin#3 so i don't want to screw this simple thing up and make sure I am doing it right thanks in advance
Looking at the red lock in the s-pack connector with the notch up (connectors lock to s-pack).
It will be the lower row of pins starting from the left.
Pin #1=Red
Pin #2=P/O
Pin #3=O/Y
Pin #4=P/Y
yes well it wasn't that color is was o/y at the #1pin and the #3 pin.
Got it hooked up yet to drive it will probably wait until tomorrow to do so but I hooked up up right same as the diagram with the exception of the color of the factory wiring at pin #1. maybe I have some "special" harness that they made to confuse people...
Maybe an aftermarket connector was installed/replaced?
Just be shure on the connections. It should be in the row with no pin installed
to the right.
The #1 Pin is Red 12V and also is Pin #12 Red 12V.
thanks yeah i double checked everything and disconnected pins 1-4 the used the wires the the cure and place back in connector accordingly, it might just be an aftermarket connector.
You could check up into the wire loom to see
if there are any splices. Someone could have
just change the one wire with what they had
on hand as a repair at some point in the past.
