Remove rear overload spring
I have a friend that just bought a 08, 2 wheel drive , regler cab. Be put a set of 20'' wheels on it and wants to know it he takes out the rear overload spring if it will lower the back of the truck any. I would think he would need lowering bloks but I thought I would ask. It is a truck with the V6 if that makes a differance.

Check out some of the Roush suspension components for lowering parts.
So, not to start the "size does/doesn't matter" argument...but....

chances are that with the v-6, the truck in question is an xl with those horrible steel wheels...
aftermarket 20's most likely will actually weigh less than the OEM wheels and the truck might actually have a little more pep
