What is the cam duration?
What will this motor be pushing around?

Unless you've spend some time/money porting those heads they're junk. And the Comp XE cams are light years better than the (252H? 260H?) cam you've mentioned. Although if your heads still have the pressed-in studs you're limited on valve lift and spring pressure anyway...

With such a mild cam the stock converter (or upgraded converter with the stock stall speed) should be fine.

When they balance the engine the weights are welded into the crank. As long as the flexplate or balancer is the same as the one you're replacing there's no worries. They will need your balancer and flexplate when they spin the crank for balancing.
