Warms-up then DIES!!
I have a 1978 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4. We start it, and it runs until it is warmed up, then it dies. It will not start again until it cools down.
Help!

Sounds as though the ignition module need to be replaced.
Eventually it will fail all the way, and the truck will not even start.
Where are my manners?

Sounds about right...the modules overheat and create 'open' circuits in the box. Hot the circuits open, cools off and the circuits are back to normal.
Not to bad of a fix actually..

Check that your choke is opening up all the way too.

Sounds more like the choke is sticking shut, because the ignition module usually takes some driving around to get hot enough to cut out.

That's a point. Define how it "Dies"? Does it just up and quit? Or does it do the "Cough and Sputter" when it dies. (the cough and sputter would also make very rich exhaust and blackened smoke from tailpipe in most cases)

The ignition coil may be the trouble here too.

Another thought, check to see if the fuel lines are routed AWAY from the engine so they don't vapor lock!
