Sub Box location on Extended Cab

I have a 95 f-150 supercab and was wondering what is a good spot to put a 10" sub box in. The sub requires .5 cubes so the box has to be a little bigger then that. I was thinking of putting it between the console and the rear seat but it looks like i'm going to have to move the console forward about an inch because there isnt enough room. I wanted to put it behind the console because someone sitting in the middle seat can still put their legs on either side of it. Anyone with a better idea? (no room uder the rear seat)

Sub Box location on Extended Cab

I just have mine set in the back. I never use the rear seat so it's always folded down. I have plenty of extra length in the wire so it can be easily moved around. I also am going to put some quick disconnects on it so it can be quickly removed if I need the space. I also figure if I need the back seat, the sub can sit on the seat. I also need to put some rubber feet on it or something so it stays put during turns. My sub is a 12. Check out my gallery for a pic. ( I am putting a grill on to protect it )

Another idea is to raise your seat! I had done mine with 4" C ( [ ) channel steel that I picked up for free, Drill the holes offset so the bottom seat will fit flush against the seat back, Measure up the space under the seat and build a box to the specs that you need! looks good and hides the sub from damage. (the only drawback that I encountered was that I couldn't flip the seat down afterwards but OH WELL!) I have since changed my stereo a bit and now my lower back seat has been removed completely and is a speaker box/seat!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 31-Dec-01 AT 00:42 AM (EST)]If you want read my heres a speaker idea for ya'll. The reason I didn't raise my back seat is I have buddies that ride in the back when we go to rodeos, repelling etc. It works great and looks nice, not to mention the great sound I aquired.
