[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Dec-01 AT 09:55 AM (EST)]I just replaced my factory system with a JVC and I ordered speakers from competionsound.com I got the Cerwin Vegas HED-162 and HED-1683's. I did a search through about 30 pages of links before I found this site. Best prices I could find on Cerwin Vegas. Oh yeah be sure and get plugs for radio and speakers so you don't have to cut them. You can get the radio and speaker plugs from Circuit City.

Hey Man, I have a '95 F150 single cab and if you want bass in the back there are boxes that will fit behind the seat. I bought mine at a local stereo store. I have 2 12's in the back of my truck with a Boss 500 watt amp under the pass. seat. It sounds good. In the front I have the factory speakersbut I did change out the 5x7's in the rear o Kenwoods. With it all hooked up it sounds really good. Good Luck.

I have a 6" bazooka bass tube behind the seat with the speaker about four inches away from the side of the cab on the passenger’s side, its powered with an internal amplifier.
All I did was hook up the RCA cables from the radio to the sub, pos. neg. and I was done.
I have the stock speakers with a $350 Alpine radio with a feature called BBE Processing (it’s a internal equalizer), with this on the stock speakers sound awesome and it pounds the sub like there’s no tomorrow.
I listen to Metallica, Pantera, and other bands like that, the bass guitar and drums sound out of this world!!!
I had a band pass box with 12”s in a Taurus, and my trucks system sounds better!!
