Hey guys,
I have noticed that when I am driving easy (slow), around 40-45 mph and the trans shifts, the motor revs for just a second before it shifts. This doesn't happen when I'm towing or driving a little faster. Trans fluid looks good. I am planning on flushing the trans in 3000 more miles. Is this something I need to be concerned about? Or is this a normal thing?
Thanks
Huck There was a thread about this a while ago and someone (i think) said that it has something to do with the shifting into OD. My truck does the same thing from time to time.
I think my stock trans did that (not anymore). Dp and a valve body would cure it I bet, the Dp will adjust the shifts better as well the valve body.
I plan on getting both DP tuner, and a BTS valve body. But those are a long way off. I still need gauges and exhaust before I call Jody.
I've had some bad luck out of auto's on my 97 psd, so I'm a little weary of auto's.
Thanks
mine done the same before I got my DP Tuner,it was the torque slipping when it locked
I was all set to put another new torque in but John Wood told me the DP would most likely cure it
