sounds a little low..check the up pipes for any soot...all 6 IC boots for any splits or loose clamps. check the map line..just to make sure you got them clamps tight..you may want to build a boost leak detector to check the boots...pull air intake from turbo..look at wheel for dusting, chips,or bent fins..spin wheel..should spin nice and smooth..grab nut on the wheel..push it in and out..there should be no play..wiggle up and down then side to side like your checking a wheelbearing ...you may feel very little play.002 at the most but no more then that....
With the chip I get more power and a ton of black smoke. Without the chip I get almost zero(very hard to see) smoke. I have some pics Im going to try and upload of the turbe wheel
That is your ccv ( crank case vent ) tube. It should be hooked to the metal piece between the intake tubes. If you are getting lots of black smoke and little boost, you have a boost leak somewhere. You might need to take the boots off and clean them and make sure they don't leak when you install them. There are 2 under the spider in front of the turbo, they are orange. Make sure they are tight.
Ok I didnt notice anything was hooked to it when I removed the intake but it must have been. Also, I decided this was a good time to do the foil delete mod. When I removed the IC tube it had oil in it at the bottom just before the intercooler. Is this normal?
I sure that tube was hooked up before you took the intake off. Like Ron said if you don't plug it back up, kiss your turbo good by. No need for an air filter either with that big hole open to the air. Make sure you put a clamp on it also.
