resonator ?

resonator ?
ok ... I have a 1994 f150 (5.0L) ..... can I get rid of the resonator and get a 2 pipe into 1 pipe piece welded in without effecting any sensors ??

Sure. There will be no sensors related to the resonator.

there is a sensor about 2 or 3 inches away from it

In front of or behind? If there is a sensor behind the "resonator" then its a cat, not a resonator.

And if its a cat, its not legal to remove it, nor should you want to unless something is wrong with it.

from the manifolds down, there's a sensor then 3 inches down is the resonator (2 pipes in ... one pipe out) and then there's a cat ... and then there's the muffler

THere is never a resonator before a cat. You probably have 2 cats.
