4x4 Hub Locking Gear NOS - Application Question

A pal of mine is "internet challenged" and asked me to seek out and find what years this part interchanged. I'll get a photo in a day or so.

Part number on the box reads: C2TZ-7105-A Gear

C2TZ-7105-A is a clutch - 2nd & 3rd Speed Synchronizer used in the New Process 5 Speed Transmission 1962 on, Section 70.8 of the 1957-1963 Ford Truck Parts Book.

Hey thanks a million. Me and my friend were both convinced this was a locking hub on a 4x4 setup.

For further reference if its a 7000 number it will be for transmission.

As in any Ford part number you can tell what it is by the base number
