Hey guys. I was trying to find out if it is possible to replace the inner rocker panels on my 2000 F250 SD SC. The place where the side steps mount to is all rusted out and the steps flex way to much to be of use. I would like to replace the steps and the rocker panels if possible. If not, I just plan on torching off the steps and living with it. Cant seem to find the part listed anywhere. Thanks.
The superduties are still pretty new, rust repair parts are going to be difficult to find mass produced. If you need a spot fixed, your going to have to have it bent from scratch, if it's just the under side, I'd clean it up good with ospho or naval jelly, then paint it with POR 15 or rustoleum, and add some support for the board.
Wow. That's disappointing. At this point there's no way to work with what is left. The pass side running board has separated from the inner rocker completely in one place and looks poor at the others. Drivers side doesnt look great either. Probably better off without the boards. Thanks.
i tried FTE Parts guy but couldn't find it listed. The next step will be the local dealer and then the bone yard. I would really rather not do a cab swap as I think it would be cost prohibitive. Thanks for the help.
