E4OD transmission

My '95 PowerStroke E4OD trans is on its last leg, and my brother in law has a '95 F250 351 gasser parts truck with the E4od also. Are the gas/diesel E4ODs the same? I can get the truck for $600.

The bolt pattern is different from a diesel to gas engine.
