The Ford dealer that is nearest to me simply went out of business! It was located in west Nashville Tn. and I've been there different times to buy parts or supplies. Lately as I've driven by on the interstate I noticed it was completely abandoned. Tonight we drove by and written all over the huge glass windows were these words, "out of business". This was a pretty big Ford dealership with a very large service and repair shop. A sign of our economic times I guess.
What other brand of vehicles did this dealer sell. Many of them are consolidating and one dealership will close and move in with let's say a Jeep dealership that he also owns somewhere else. Cuts the overhead in half.
I understand that the Ford dealership in Auburn is closing their doors as well. I kinda hate to see him leave becuz I won't have any body to whine about their outrageous prices

Rog, have you seen the dealerships in GV? a dealership (weaver Chebby) that was a 1/2 acre lot just moved into a 4 acre lot... talk about overhead.
Same story with an rv dealer (DeMartini) in the area...
Ford dealer went from half acre lot to 2 1.25 acre lots...
Is it just GV that likes it's cars so much???
