I want to put a steering stabilizer (single) on my 77 F250 Highboy. I have done the 78/79 steering conversion so I don't have the power assist ram in front. I'm looking at the Rancho Kits. I'm wondering what kit I need, one for the 78/79 F250 4x4 or for the older F250 4x4s with manual steering. Or would it matter since I've done the conversion?
You just need one for the axle that you are gonna install it on.
Keep in mind that even dodge and cheby kits are the same. The exception is that they are, or will be upside down.
Brackets are pretty easy to make, and if you get creative you can actually mount one end in the stock location where the hydro ram was mounted.
Here is just an example of how I mounted mine.

I don't think you'll get a better pic than that!! My three favorite things!
Trying to figire out what the third thing is,,,,,,, just jokin.
My girl likes to ham things up. With my new Dana 60 front, I almost forgot she was even in the pic, lol.
Probably should not let her know that, huh?

Just tell her you submitted the shot for the upcoming FTE calendar!
