When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
First, you need to put any picture you have, up on the web. That can be at a picture hosting website, or you can use this site. The spot you can upload pictures on this site is up at the top of the page and is called "galleries". Hold the mouse over that, and then go to "manage create". See if you can get through that process, and write back in if you have any trouble. It has buttons for "upload", and when you click that, you will have a "browse" button which will let you hunt down the pictures already on your computer. The easiest thing to do is take your pictures, download them from the camera onto your desktop, and then when you browse, you can go and find them on your desktop, and then upload them to your gallery.
After you get them in your gallery, then they are on the web. There is usually a button somewhere in the gallery where you can click for the link to the picture. You can also hold you mouse button over the picture, and then right click and click on "properties". That will give you a "www" with a long string or whats called the "url" You need to highlight and copy this whole long url.
Then when you post, you can "paste" this url into your post. When you post your reply, the url you put in the post will be a link people can click on to see the post. If you want the picture to automatically appear in the post, then put [ i m g ] without the spaces in front of the url, and put [ / i m g ] at the end of the url without the spaces. This will trigger the software to go get the picture and put it in your post. That's why I had to put the spaces inbetween the letters, so the software would not kick in and try to put a picture in this post.
