Just to update on my radio problems, My second radio has stopped working too. Well, not completly the control also wore out. I haven't even had it three months! Jensen doesn't appear interested in replaceing either face, so I guess I wont be buying another Jensen. I plan to exchange the newer one for a Sony Explod this weekend. This just goes to show ya' sometimes it is a good idea to take advice when it is given. Friends told me not to get this particular radio, and guess what I did. oops.

Your first mistake was getting a jensen. now a sony xplod is a wise choice. now depending on what u want your deck to run is the next question. my choice would be the sony xpold cdx-m610 cd this has everything you will need for runing a simple of awesome system in you vechile but it will set you back around $340.

just to update i got a call from jensen, and they 'say' hey haven't had many of theese break, yeah right, i've had quite a few people tell me theirs have broken. they said if i fax them a copy of both reciepts they will mail a new face plate for both radio's. after that, I will probably sell the one in my car, and get the xplod. as for the one in my Aero. the thing is too hard to get out so as long as I can repair it it is ataying!!!

Hey..just a suggestion, but I'de go with the Pioneer line. I've had good luck with mine, and my Bro has the same one. It's the DEH-2300...i think? But i have other friends that have em, and they realllly like them. I also have friends with the Sony Explode setup, and it doesn't seem to be a bad player: HOWEVER, their amps. are garbage...we've had 2 of them come into our high school auto shop that had to be returned for a diff. brand of amp. The Subs aren't the best either. I had a friend that bought an $800 Amp/Sub system, and it went out on him and he had to send it in...and guess what....it was a Sony Explode package....I'de go with Pioneer! I've talked to a lot of people about Players, and they all say Pioneer is one of the best, if not THE best. Hope this helps in your choice! Laterz!

yes go with the pioneer line definately, eclipses just a little bit better but more expensice. i invested in the premier line. badass thats all i can say. good amp attached to it and lots of options, you can play with your mids highs and chance frequencies. jensen sucks, the speakers are okay but the amps blow. i have a friend with two jensen 12's cheap sound okay, good amp though, sounds good, have another friend to jensen 12's jensen amp, disgusting.
