these trucks are NOT selling, asking prices are high as hell but actual sales are very low.. I JUST sold my 2002 F250 super-cab 7.3 (nice truck) to my partner for $7k because I had no real offers priced at 10,500...
in turn I bought a 2005 F350 PSD crew-cab, 4x4 with 93k (still in warranty) damn near like new for $11,500... cash talks and bs walks, and there's not a lotta cash out there. buy a diesel the v10 is a pos, and fuel cost would be about the same anyway. If you really like that truck, needing tlc I'd not pay over 9k for it or just move on, too many for sale to over-pay.
I bought my 99 V10 with 137000 on it for 8000.00 and it was a one owner truck. I think the price is way to high. Take your time, took me 6 months. And found one local in NC.
Thanks for all the advice. I am going to go back to Phoenex and visit some other dealers. Looking online they all seem high, when compared to whats selling or not ,,, on ebay. But i seen anouther same color setup, but power seats. AND wife is ok with spending the extra.
I was just really hoping i could convince this dealer his truck was worth a little less, and trade mine in. Then I would have some money to do some upgrades.
