I am about to put in new shackles for my front leaf springs, and new Energy Suspension bushings. I think I also should have added new shocks, but don`t know which ones are the best. The F250 has stock height. Anybody who know what I should buy?
One more thing: I am also going to put in new axle pivot bushings. How tough is this job?
Anyhow, I don`t have much time for my pick-up right now. I am building a garage these days. So I have a place to upgrade the truck during the winter.
A have a little plan on throwing out the E4OD and put in a ZF5. ( already have a parts truck!) Think I will put in a LUK clutch and single mass flywheel at the same time. And for christmas I will tell my wife that I could need a detroit locker... !
I liked the OEM shocks for the ride...... but Munroe or any other well known manufacturer should be able to sell you OEM quality....... I hate a hard ride.
Right now I have a set of Rancho 5000 shocks which I hate, they did not have the Monroe shocks in stock when I replaced them.
I really wish I had waited for them to come in.
