Cab Rust Repair.

I'm working on the driver's side of the cab, floor pans, lower cowl (I think this is called the cab corner), step, and rocker. I am in need of a few pictures and measurements. This is a 1961 F100 Unibody.

I need the measurement from the bottom of the floor pan to the bottom of the mounting bracket riveted to the frame. Passenger side and driver side.

And the measurement from the floor pan to the bottom of the frame rail at the rear brace, both sides.

I need pictures of the rear lower of the front fender mount, and possibly the back of a fender, so that I may attempt to rebuild them. Both have been welded, poorly, by someone in the past.

Check out the old pan and mount.

I'm now a little beyond this point

I've started spot welding the floor pan in. I'll finish up the outside portion once the inside is back together.

Not sure if these will help or exactly what you need. The measurement you are asking for will vary from truck to truck because of the amount of sag in the cab mount insulators (rubber donuts). In your photos, your insulators look very squished.

Will these help?...

I need asistance with someting else.

What should the angle indicated by the red lines be?

I was thinking it should be 90 degrees or larger but the repro mounts I have are smaller. I haven't measured but I put a square on it and it looks like the repro is about 85 degrees. It looks like the floor pan is sloped from the middle to the outside of the cab; higher in the middle and lower at the sides. The repro mounts being less than 90 degrees just doesn't seem right. Wouldn't that cause it to slope to the inside? My originals are not in good enough shape to trust the measurements.
