Starting problem

Hey guys, I have an early '99 that is bone stock. When I start it in the morning it starts ok, but when I crank it after its been driven and parked for any period of time except overnight, it takes about 5-7 sec. of cranking to get it started. When it does start it has a weird sound for about 2 sec. Once I get it started it runs very good. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Have you checked you're air and fuel filter? If it's a sensor issue you'll need a scanner that can monitor live data to find the issue. I've had some slow start issues when warm with some old oil before. After changing the oil it went away. Did the problem start right after the oil change, or has it been going on for a while?

Both filters were just changed, and problem has been going on for a few weeks now.
