TJ, it would be much better, and in much better form, for you to address these issues in a PM or email instead of hijacking this guys thread. If you don't have anything relevant to the thread to post then please don't!

Now, let's get back to the OP's topic!

tj, you said it all when you said "but ive never driven one". If you ever get away from your computer long enough to crawl behind the wheel of a SD 6.0, you will throw rocks at a 12v Cummins. It aint even in our class!

well i have a few friends who own a 6.0 and a few friends who own a 12v cummins,we have hook ups and pull offs all the time, and the 12v whoops it.i didnt go into this thread calling the 6.0 a pos,i honestly know that the early models were nothing but trouble,i loved the 7.3 and i kno fords capable of making a good diesel, theres really no point in arguing about it.

I like the red one better and considering the mileage difference it's worth a little more.
I agree though that you can beat the dealer down with fuel being so expensive. Just be prepared to walk. There will be other choices if this one doesn't come through.
Good Luck !

not attacking you, but
1. pull offs prove nothing except which guy is a smarter driver in that regard
2. Ford didn't make the 6.9idi, 7.3idi, 7.3 powerstroke or the 6.0 and 6.4.

My 6.0 is a very early one and it is great, the 6.0 when maintained properly is very good, just does have a few flaws from factory that are easily fixed to make it an extremely solid power plant.

Personally I like the white KR truck more then the red one, but the lower miles is a much better aspect of the red one

thats true they werent made by ford (international???),and for pull offs a lot has to do w traction and weight, and destroying your truck, which is why i hardly do them and just watch people do to their own trucks
