After reading about pro and cons about this stupid valveand having trouble with mine, I unhooked mine, just to see if would throw a code, it hasn't. One question I have is does the code show up on the instrament panel somwhere. Two, aside from warranty and emission issues, ise there any damage going to be created in my engine or electronics with it unhooked thats all I want to know..
Thanks for all the help.
I can understand about the fuel milage,I am not to concerned about it though, the milage sucks anyway, thats why I make bio diesel. I am easining up the % of it allthe time. My dealer seems to be OK as long as it is quality fuel. I hear that the bio can gunk up the egr crap worse than dino diesel.
I noticed that a bigger exhaust will help the temp on exhaust, I don't pull a whole lot but is that true about the exhaust.
Doing the Turbo up-pipe, EGR Blocker plate I have noticed a huge gain in Performance. The EGR is doing more harm than good. I get my Truck Smog Checked and the emissions dropped with the EGR not working. Go figure EPA.

Biodiesel runs cleaner and should actually keep the nasty egr a little cleaner. The quality of your bio is the key. If not washed thoroughly and all the glycerin is not gone there could be big problems. I have had no egr problems (cross my fingers) with 56k. I run the truck really hard once in a while and get some heat and cfm moving through the exhaust to clean things out.
